The colleagues from the Public Administration and Quality departments at AXPE Consulting have enjoyed the event known as DES or Digital Enterprise Show, taking place at Madrid Ifema from May 22 to today. During the event, the AXPE team has had the opportunity to learn about the latest technological innovations and to establish networking relationships.

One of the most notable presentations at the event was by Arun Sundararajan, Professor at NY Stern University, where he discussed the most significant digital platforms today. According to Sundararajan, a few years ago, agreements were made between people and institutions. Currently, the role of institutions has largely been replaced by major digital platforms, such as Amazon, Uber, or Cabify. One of the most striking examples is Airbnb, which has already surpassed the two largest hotel chains in terms of the number of guests accommodated.

Robotics, Drones, Analytics, Social Media, Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, and Smart Cities were some of the topics discussed in the various presentations at the Digital Enterprise Show, which saw a greater turnout than in previous editions.
