Cloud Computing: types of cloud

Within Cloud Computing, there are three types of clouds—public, hybrid, and private—each with a key feature tailored to your business needs.

In this infographic, we provide clear and concise definitions of each type, giving you a straightforward overview to determine which option works best for your company.

PUBLIC CLOUD

The public cloud delivers on-demand computing capabilities to multiple clients over the Internet. The provider supplies infrastructure, networks, and storage that are logically isolated, offering virtually unlimited computing capacity that can be scaled both horizontally and vertically.

HYBRID CLOUD

The hybrid cloud connects your on-premise or in-location infrastructure with the network and resources provided by a public cloud provider. Typically, this connection is established via a VPN, Rest API, or by encrypting traffic with security certificates.

PRIVATE CLOUD

The private cloud involves provisioning resources on-premise or in-location exclusively for a single company, meaning these resources aren’t shared with third parties. It mainly features physical isolation, complete and direct management by your organization, and scalable capacity based on your needs.

Additionally, our infographic highlights two of the leading cloud providers in the market—Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure—which are also our valued partners.
